Trump Tweets in Favor of ‘Original’ Travel Ban, Not the ‘Watered Down Version’

President Donald Trump unleashed on Twitter Monday morning in favor of his originally proposed travel ban, calling what his administration sent to the Supreme Court a “watered down, politically correct” version of his original plan.

Kellyanne Conway’s husband shared on twitter his disapproval with President Trump’s ‘Travel Ban’ tweets. Sarah Huckabee Sanders defended the President’s tweets during Monday’s White House briefing.

Administration officials have avoided calling the travel restriction a “ban” in the past after critics claimed it was similar to a “Muslim ban.”

In January, White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer told the media the travel restriction was “not a ban.”

“People, the lawyers and the courts can call it whatever they want,” Trump wrote on Monday. “But I am calling it what we need and what it is, a TRAVEL BAN!”

George Conway, the husband of White House adviser Kellyanne Conway who was under consideration for multiple positions in President Donald Trump’s administration, took to twitter to voice his disagreement in Trump’s tweets on Monday for targeting his own Justice Department.
