Food and Everything Else Slow Cooker Beef Stew

Crock-Pot Beef Roast

Beef Roast (any cut)

3 tbsp. Flour

1/4 Cup vegetable oil or (oil of your choice)

1/2 Cup water

Salt & Pepper

Granulated Garlic

Potatoes (any kind) I used Red Potatoes in this pot roast but normally I prefer Klondike Yellow Potatoes

Baby Carrots

Frozen or Fresh Green Beans

2 Garlic Cloves

1 Whole White Onion (cut in quarters)

1 Package Lipton Onion Soup Mix

Season Roast and flour both sides of Roast. Add oil to a skillet heat on medium high heat. Once oil is hot (hot enough when you drop a pinch of flour in the oil it fizzles) brown Roast on both sides.

Add Roast and water to crock-pot then add all other ingredients cook on high for about 6 hours or on medium for about 10 to 12 hours. If I am going to be home I add the vegetables after the roast has cooked for at least 3 hours if I’m not home I just cook all ingredients on medium heat.
