Chicken Stew with Homemade Biscuits Recipe

Ingredients

3 whole (6 split) skin on, bone-in chicken breast 
3 tbsp olive oil 
1 kosher salt 
1 black pepper, freshly ground 
5 cup chicken stock, preferably homemade 
2 cube chicken bouillon 
12 tbsp (1 1/2 sticks) unsalted butter 
2 cup yellow onion, chopped (2 onions) 
3⁄4 cup flour 
1⁄4 cup heavy cream 
2 cup carrots, medium diced (4 carrots), blanched for 2 minutes 
1 package (10 ounces) frozen peas, (2 cups) 
1 1⁄2 cup small whole frozen onion 
1⁄2 cup fresh parsley, minced 
2 cup flour 
1 tbsp baking powder 
1 tsp kosher salt 
1 tsp sugar 
1⁄4 lb (1 stick) cold unsalted butter, diced 
3⁄4 cup half-and-half 
1⁄2 cup fresh parsley, chopped 
1 egg, mixed with 1 tablespoon water, for egg wash
